A History of Design and Kirsch®

Laurel has been in the interior design profession since 1979. She took a Career Planning & Placement course at her college (UCSD) that pointed her in the direction of the design industry. It wasn’t easy to get started given how competitive the industry was at that time, but she eventually found a position working for an interior designer in Santa Monica. Laurel started selling Kirsch® products back in the 1980s. She has vast experience with the wide range of Kirsch® window shadings, custom drapery and automated window blinds.

Working with her Client’s Style

Laurel mostly enjoys helping people feel good about coming home. Whether she is helping them by installing child-safe blinds or energy efficient window coverings, she makes sure the client is happy with the end result. And, works hard to make sure that whatever work is done, it follows the client’s style choice. She is there to guide, support and help wherever she can.

Laurel’s personal style is eclectic. She lives in a 400SF house that is well managed and neat. Even though it is small, Laurel has still brought in some great design elements. Laurel can make any sized house a happy, well designed home!
